And we are off on our Second Trip..

The next advancer in our RV lead us to the banks of the Llano River. It’s was a newly opened RV Park that was just outside of Mason between Mason and Fredericksburg, TX. The RV Park its self didn’t have much to over other than the usual hook ups and stuff that is always great. It on the other hand had a very nice view of the River and several people attempted to go fishing in it. Sorry I failed to get pictures of that. My husband defiantly wants to go back to that spot also as he has mentioned in the below spot about Jellystone in Canyon Lake. So since we didn’t stay around the RV Park we headed out into the town of Mason that was not too far. They had so many neat little stores out there. The town is known to be "The Gem of the Hill Country" because their creeks have topaz in them. There is a store called Gems of the Hill Country and if you find a topaz and take it in there they can cut it and mote them onto a ring. THEY ARE BEUTIFUL they look like diamonds. Here is what it looked like:Our next stop was to the Sonlight Apple Orchard. When we arrived the cameo Apples where the apples that was in season. So those were the ones that we were able to pick. Here is the Orchard:

This is Son the owner of the Apple Orchard.

Penelope had so much fun picking the apples from the Orchard
defiantly something anyone of all ages would enjoy doing.
On our way back to the RV on one of our outings we found this street it was right before the RV park and so we thought it would be interesting to see where it takes us. We kind of thought it would take us to the other side of the Llano River but id didn't instead it looped us around to a HWY that this was on the other end of the loop. I thought it was SO Cool this is a old Art School / Church. Back in it's Hay Day it was probably the talk of all the kids. Just think about all the cool little art projects they may have done. Reminds me of Little House on the Prairie.

These are the cows that we sow on the way back to the RV Park. Some of these cows were lying in the street and we would have to wait for them to move out of the way. Some of them looked like the would have charged us.
